Responsible Digital Transformation

New technologies and its applications such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity profoundly transform our lives – from our world of work to healthcare or how we handle data and information.

The ETH Zurich Campus Heilbronn will actively contribute to shape the digital transformation of our society in a responsible way. With its excellence in science, ETH Zurich is engaging in Heilbronn to develop solutions for the future together with other research institutions, companies and society. At the core of this effort is a clear principle: digital transformation should be innovative, responsible and sustainable.

Bildungscampus in Heilbronn

The establishment of the ETH Zurich Campus Heilbronn has been made possible by a generous grant by the Dieter Schwarz Foundation.

As part of the Bildungscampus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn, ETH Zurich is embedded in an environment that promotes lifelong learning and provides home to a wide range of educational and research institutions.

Together with the institutions on site, ETH Zurich actively shapes the development of the Bildungscampus Heilbronn. Due to the high concentration of leading international companies and research institutions in Baden-Württemberg, ETH Zurich becomes a key player in an international hub for research, education and innovation, as well as in one of Europe’s largest emerging digital ecosystems.
